Being Indian follows the lives of four Indian children from widely differing backgrounds and gives an insight into the power of the caste system. We see how it affects every aspect of their lives. In a country with a fast-moving economy and half its population under the age of 35, the films delve into what social change and mobility really means for children of India today.
