Description
Rwanda’s Decade of Tears is a brilliant, succinct and emotionally draining report. A decade after the massacre / genocide we speak with the survivors which began on April 7th, 1994 and claimed 800,000 lives in only 100 days. We see a traditional trial – Gacaca – in progress and hear of the fear that still lives within the Tutsis as they now have to live side-by-side with many of the Hutus who carried out the massacres and who are being released fem jail.
