Description
In this documentary we speak with a Russian whistle-blower who tried to warn the world about a nuclear threat and how his alarm revealed nearly 100 rusting nuclear submarines that are now a health threat to Russians.
In 1995, Alexander Nikitin thought he was about to start a new life in the West.
As we see in the film, instead, he finds himself trapped in Russia; the target of the country’s new secret police, all because this former senior safety inspector of nuclear subs alerted the world to a lethal nuclear arsenal left to rot in Murmansk.
And as the whistle-blower has learned, some things have not changed in this land with a dark history of oppression.
