Description
In 1993 Israel and the PLO agreed what seemed to be a new peace in the Middle East. But what has happened to that peace? The forgotten people in the peace process are still ignored — hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, some of whom were displaced from their homes 50 years ago when Israel was formed and who are still forgotten today, even by Arab leaders. For these people, it’s not just politics but poverty, for they lead the most desperate of lives. That combination has made them a breeding ground for terrorist causes. We talk with a forgotten people about lives that make them dream of revenge.
