Description
Ngwang, a Buddhist nun and Bagdro, a Buddhist monk, at the ages of 13 and 20, led freedom demonstrations against the Chinese occupation in Tibet. They were arrested, imprisoned and endured years of horrific torture. Through the power of a positive mind, and inspired by the Dalai Lama, Ngwang and Bagdro find a way Beyond Fear. The film features historical and recent Tibetan footage, interviews with Bagdro in India and Ngwang in New York. It looks at the “lost” history of Tibet after years of occupation by China.
